Diana Kolman welcomed everyone and made introductions. Claude Whited led the pledge to the flag, and Pastor Laura West gave the invocation and blessing. more

MT. JUDEA — During the regular meeting of the Deer-Mt. Judea School Board on Monday, Oct 13 on the Mt. Judea campus, the board accepted the voluntary resignation of superintendent Joshua “Blaine” Lawrence. Along with Lawrence’s resignation, the board approved a lump wage payment of $110,000. more

One last reminder that the Compton Community Day is today, Saturday, October 11, from noon until 4 p.m. at the Compton Community Building (the old Compton School). There will be food, music, games, raffle prizes, and a quilt raffle. The handcrafted wooden quilt block made and donated by Jeff and Paulette Jech will be raffled, as well. If you would like to purchase tickets for the raffle prizes, please see one of the CCA board members.
