North Little Rock man arrested on child pornography charges

LITTLE ROCK – Attorney General Tim Griffin issued the following statement regarding the arrest of Alexander Page Garner, 21, of North Little Rock on two counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child:
“This arrest stemmed from a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Special agents from my office’s Special Investigations Division executed a search warrant at Mr. Garner’s home earlier today. While at Garner’s home, agents discovered materials depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child, and Mr. Garner was taken into custody.
“I am grateful for the diligence of my office’s special agents and the assistance of the North Little Rock Police Department.

“I will not waver in my commitment to keep our children safe.”
Garner’s child pornography charges are Class C Felonies. After his arrest, he was booked into the Pulaski County Regional Detention Center, where he is currently being held without bond.
