School zone posted at Western Grove

Western Grove School officials have announced there is now a posted school zone on US 65 from Grice's grocery store to the bridge that goes over Circle Drive. This is a 25mph zone that is in affect while children are present.
The primary times that this will be in effect will be Tuesdays through Fridays, approximately 7:30 a.m. until 8:15 a.m., and 3:40 p.m. until 4:20 p.m.. This is when the highest volume of drop off/pickup times will be. This may also be in affect during school sponsored sporting events while children are present.
AR Code § 27-51-212 (2020)

* (a) No person shall operate a motor vehicle in excess of twenty-five miles per hour (25 m.p.h.) when passing a school building or school zone during school hours when children are present and outside the building.
Also, please take note the 45mph zone has been extended to North of Gladden Street.
