The Jasper/Newton County Kiwanis Club is planning a couple of annual holiday events.
The first is a trick or treat delight/fright, at the "Haunted House: located at 103 North Ninth Street in Jasper.
Doors will creep open at 7 p.m. on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31.
Admission is boo, no, $2, with all proceeds being donated to the Jasper High School Key Club.
The second annual event long-sponsored by Kiwanis will be this year's Christmas Parade through the Jasper business district on Saturday, Nov. 30.
It all starts with the line up of floats and other participating units at 5 p.m. at Bradley Park. Judging begins at 5:30 p.m. The procession will get underway at 6.
