PYATT — According to a press release issued by the office of Marion County Sheriff Gregg Alexander on Thursday, a body was found during a recent structure fire in Pyatt. The sheriff’s office reported that on Monday, Oct. 14, at approximately 8:21 p.m., the Marion County Emergency 911 Center received a call of a structure fire on Marion County Road 3015 in the rural Pyatt area of Marion County.
When personnel from the Pyatt Volunteer Fire Department arrived, the structure was fully engulfed. After the fire was extinguished, fire department personnel located a body inside the residence.
