The Newton County Health Unit has finalized its schedule for annual flu vaccine clinics in 2024, announced health unit manager Erika Houston at last week's Newton County Hometown Health Initiative meeting.
The Community-wide Flu Clinic will be held Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Newton County Health Unit, 506 E. Court Street, Jasper, during regular business hours. This will be a drive though clinic where traffic will be directed in such a way so that the vaccine can be administered to patients in their vehicles. Houston said.
Flu clinics will also be held at each of the county's public schools according to the following schedule:
