Senior center serving fried chicken dinners Sept. 20

The Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center will be selling chicken dinners on Friday, Sept. 20, at 5 p.m. Bingo and pool will follow from 5:30-7 p.m. Home cooked fried chicken with sides and dessert costs $10 per meal.
Meals at the center are offered to seniors for a $4 donation, Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk. No age limit customers and carry out meals cost $6.

Sept. 19-25
Thursday - Stuffed green peppers, flame roasted corn, tossed salad and strawberries with topping.

Friday - Salisbury steak, mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, wheat roll and muffin.
Monday - Tuna salad sandwich, garden pea salad, fruit salad and cookie.
Tuesday - Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, seasoned green beans, wheat roll and orange pineapple medley.
Wednesday - Barbecue pork on wheat bun, chuckwagon corn, spinach salad and fresh melon cup.
