Jasper Cemetery policies prohibit the placement of items on gravesites that impedes mowers and other equipment used to maintain cemetery grounds.
Jasper Cemetery Board President Helen Reynolds said items especially hazardous to equipment operators are solar lights and objects made of or containing glass.
Reynolds said owners of such decorations must remove them now, or they will be removed and discarded by the cemetery groundskeepers. If you have questions, you can call 870-446-2727.
