Jasper School's tornado safe room is open to the public during the event that a TORNADO WARNING is issued for Jasper AND the 911 Dispatch Center activates the City tornado siren. If the siren is sounding and the door is not unlocked, please call the Newton County Sheriff's Office at 870-446-5124 and they can activate the door for you. Again, the building is ONLY unlocked during a WARNING, according to school district officials.
