SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — After a tornado, there is clean-up.
The after-tornado activity claimed the life of a Boone County Justice of the Peace.
Monday morning Fred Woehl was removed from life-support and passed from this Earth in a Springfield, Mo. hospital.
Woehl was cleaning fallen trees when an accident occurred on Sunday.
Someone passing saw the scene and noticed that Woehl was not on his tractor. They examined the situation.
After calling 911, Woehl was flown to Springfield, Mo. where he succumbed to his injuries.
Woehl has served the county in his position. He was also on several committees.
He leaves behind his wife, Carolyn, and two children Jeremiah and Stephanie.
