We send congratulations to the Harrison Daily Times on the many awards they received from the APA. We thank you for continuing to share your best with the Newton County Times as well.
Jesse Martin and his kiddos came over Sunday bringing groceries and Zeb mowed our yard. We have been in the hay on Batson Mountain for 2 months and got to camp out with them. Zeb has become a pretty good farm hand and Jesslyn too when she isn’t busy with band and basketball.
I want to thank Rocky Martin and Kenny King for coming to help Johnny with getting the car started and then the tractor was giving him problems! It’s good to know you have some friends who will help you out.
We extend sympathy with love and prayers to the families of J.C. Richardson and Imogene Smith Madewell. We pray for comfort and peace in hearts of those in grief.
Congratulations to Grayson and Nicole Woods on their new baby boy, grandparents, Kelly and Brenda Woods and great grandparents, Peggy and Jr. Adams are helping them celebrate.
We’re praying for all our area schools as they plan for school to starts this month. Be mindful of the school buses and obey the stopping signs and lights and the children getting off and on. We wish all the students a good year. Work hard, but remember to slow down and enjoy your youth because it will soon be gone! As matter of fact, we all need to slow down and enjoy the best in life, God, family and friends.
