Shaw signs with Razorbacks

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas has added its 17th high school signee and 25th in the Class of 2024 with the addition of Hoover (Ala.) four-star linebacker Bradley Shaw.
Shaw, 6-1, 218, went public with his decision on Christmas Day. He signed with Arkansas on Dec. 20, but didn't release it until Monday.
He chose the Hogs over Clemson, Auburn, Alabama, Notre Dame and several other schools. He took an official visit to Arkansas the June 16-18 weekend.
Shaw is the nation’s No. 8 linebacker with 247Sports and No. 14 with the 247Composite. He is the No. 38 linebacker nationally with On3. Rivals rates him the No. 17 linebacker in the nation. ESPN rates him the No. 6 linebacker nationally, The majority of the recruiting services have him among the Top 200 recruits nationally regardless of position.
He is the fourth linebacker to sign with Arkansas. He joins Georgia transfer Xavien Sorey Jr., 6-3, 230, Harding Academy three-star Wyatt Simmons, 6-3, 215, and Marietta (Ga.) Kell's Justin Logan, 6-2, 220.
Arkansas now has seven scholarships remaining for the Class of 2024. The majority of those seven are expected to come from the transfer portal. However, Arkansas is still targeting Andalusia (Ala.) four-star running back J'Marion Burnette, 6-1, 225. He has rushed for 4.500 yards in high school. He was once committed to Auburn, but decommitted. He has also visited Missouri in December. He holds 25 offers. Burnette will visit Arkansas Jan. 12-14.
The Razorbacks are still in the market for a running back, wide receiver, interior offensive lineman, edge rusher, defensive tackle, linebacker and a defensive back.
