EUREKA SPRINGS — It is a rarity that two games will end with the same score in basketball.
Friday night in Eureka Springs, Ozark Mountain School District left Highland Gym with a pair of senior victories, 62-32.
In junior girls action, the Junior Lady Bears won their contest, 34-12.

Senior Boys

The Bears of Ozark Mountain picked up another league win with a 62-32 victory over Eureka Springs.
Using good defense in the second half, Ozark Mountain held the Highlanders to 12 total points while putting 35 on the board.
Mason Gilmore dominated the paint in the third period. He scored 13 points as the Bears outscored the Highlanders, 18-7, in the frame.
Tate Dixon picked up the scoring slack in the fourth for the Bears. He hit three 3-pointers and another bucket for 11 points as the Bears won the final frame, 17-5.
Gilmore started the game with 10 first period points as the Bears held a 14-10 lead at the first break.
Dixon had six in the second and Gilmore added five as the Bears led at halftime, 29-20.
Leading Ozark Mountain in scoring was Gilmore with 28 points. Dixon added 21, Kooper Baker nine and Jake Zemlik and Jacob Campbell two apiece.

Senior Girls

Eureka Springs could not keep up with Ozark Mountain as the Lady Bears won the contest, 62-32.
After a modest, 12-5, first period lead for the Lady Bears, Ozark Mountain scored 22 points in the second period. Brooklynn Tennison had half of those points in the frame.
Ozark Mountain led, 34-18, at the midway point.
Five different Lady Bears scored in the third period as they pushed the lead to 52-23.
Leading the team in scoring was Kierra Kleinert with 16 points. Tennison added 14, Tara Yocham 13, Kelly Middleton seven, Jailyn Jackson five, Chloe Marshall three and Annalynn McCutcheon and Brooklynn Cunningham two each.

Junior Girls

Ozark Mountain started the game quickly and went on to post a 34-12 win.
The Junior Lady Bears led, 14-0, after the first period and 21-3 at halftime.
Leading Ozark Mountain in scoring was Kelsey Tennison and MaHaley Gilmore with eight each. Brilee Keymer added five, Jayden Applegate four, Maci Brumley three and Hannah Wheeler, Havannah Greenhaw and Jasey Smtih two each.
