Senior center fish fry is Friday

The Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center's monthly fish fry is this Friday, July 11, from 2-6 p.m. the cost is $11. Available are hand breaded fried fish or chicken strips with the fixings. Additional fish is now $2 a piece or 10 for $15.
The center serves lunch Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Those who are 60 and over can dine in at the center for a $4 donation. Under 60, dine for $8.60. Carry out meals for everyone is $8.60. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk.

Thursday - Teriyaki pork, steamed rice, Asian vegetable blend, egg roll, orange pineapple creme.

Friday - Mushroom Swiss burger, tater tot and ice cream sundae.
Monday -Marinated chicken sandwich, waffle fries, baby carrots and pear crisp.
Tuesday - Barbecued beef brisket, sweet potato waffle fries, baked beans, cornbread and oatmeal cookie.
Wednesday - Baked fish, garlic mashed cauliflower, squash medley, dinner roll, blueberries and peaches.
