The Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center in Jasper will be closed on Friday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
The center serves lunch Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Those who are 60 and over can dine in at the center for a $4 donation. Under 60, dine for $8.60. Carry out meals for everyone is $8.60. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk.

Wednesday - Salisbury steak with peppers, duchess potatoes, zucchini, dinner roll and rosy apple slices.
Thursday - Lasagna, Italian vegetables, breadstick and ice cream.
Friday - Closed.
Monday - Cheese enchilada, fiesta rice, Pico de Gallo and strawberries with topping.
Tuesday - Baked turkey breast, mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, dinner roll and pears and apricots.
Wednesday - Swedish meatballs, noodles, stir fry vegetables, dinner roll and blushing pears.
