Pirates remain undefeated

JASPER — The Jasper Pirates moved to 7-0 on the season be knocking of the Green Forest Tigers 77-62 in nonconference action on Friday, No. 10.
Jasper exposed to a 29-8 lead after one quarter, led 46-20 at the half and 67-46 after three quarters.
Blake Williams led Jasper with 28 points, Sawyer Willis tallied 23, Malijah Campbell netted 12, Spencer Traywick had 10, Ty Williams chipped in three and Canaan Hudson added one.
Brayden Compton led the Tigers with 23 points, Sebstian Holsted netted 15, Hesten Maybee tallied eight, Mason Meador scored seven, Zak Watson chipped in six and Ajay Strain added three.

Junior boys

The Junior Pirates also picked up a victory, defeating the Junior Tigers 48-32.
Green Forest led 11-10 after one quarter buy Jasper went on a 13-2 run in the second quarter to take a 23-13 lead at halftime then led 33-22 after three quarters.
Grady Hankins led Jasper with 11 points, Aaron Thomas and Tate Smith each netted 10, Jase Willis scored nine and Jayce Rylee added eight.
