Lead Hill boys pick up two wins

LEAD HILL — Lead Hill entertained Deer for 1A-1East games on Thursday night.
The home team won two games. The Tigers notched a 55-38 win, while the Junior Tigers escaped with a 28-26 victory.

Senior Boys

The Lead Hill senior boys took a lead in the first period and moved on to a 55-38 win.
Lead Hill jumped to a 23-5 lead after playing eight minutes.
With a 35-17 lead at halftime, Lead Hill increased it to 20 points after three periods, 45-25.
Leading Lead Hill was Nicklas May with 21 points. Coda Lemon added 19, Kaden Baker 10, Alex Gray three and Cedomir Petrovic two.
May had 18 rebounds, Petrovic 11 and Lemon 10.

Canyon Lasater had 13 points for Deer.

Junior Boys

Lead Hill had to withstand a frantic Deer comeback in the fourth quarter. Lead Hill won the contest, 28-26.
Heading into the fourth period, Lead Hill led, 26-15.
Deer held Lead Hill to two points in the final six-minute period. The Junior Antlers scored 11 to make it a two-point contest.
Lead Hill led Deer, 10-8, after the first period and then moved that lead to 20-13 at the halfway point.
Leading Lead Hill in scoring was Tucker Middleton with 13 points. Gage Campbell added six, Jacob Francis four, Tanner Middleton three and Dylan Franco two.
Ayden Burdin had 11 for Deer. Dillon Young added seven and Hyatt Gilmore six.
