President Betty Stivers conducted the March 13 meeting of the Friends of the Newton County Library with eight in attendance.
Rose Szabrowicz led us in the Pledge. Betty had to devotions.
Librarian Kenya Windel presented the program which included services offered at the library. The club was impressed with the Imagination Library and the large number of Newton County children enrolled.
June 12 is the date for the club's spring visit to the lavender farm at Compton.
Birthday money's received from two members.
The Spring Fling will be April 25.
Dues will be payable at the April 10 meeting.
Several projects were discussed.
