Charles Stanley Rocole, 72, of Vendor, died at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, Wednesday, Feb. 24 (2021). Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Monday, March 1, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 2, at Smith Cemetery in Vendor, with his brother, Chris Rocole, officiating.
The son of the late Chock and Ila Rocole was born in Marked Tree, April 4, 1948. He proudly served his country at the age of 18 being drafted into the Vietnam War. He was a decorated soldier, serving from 1969-1971 in active duty
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Louise, of the home; three sons, Waylon Rocole, of the home, Alvin Brasel, of Harrison, Parnell Brasel, of Batavia; four brothers, Charlie Rocole, of Nell, William Rocole, of Deer, Chris Rocole, of Dover and Henry Rocole, of Deer; two sisters, Ruthie Rocole, of Jasper and Jenny Stewart, of Salus; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be Adam Rocole, Andrew Rocole, Christopher Brasel, Leon Wheelus, Anthony Casey and Tristan Wheelus.
