Mildred Rains, 86, of Harrison, died Saturday, June 20 (2020). Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, at Holt Memorial Chapel from 3-7 p.m. Service will be on Wednesday, June 24, at Holt Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Denning Cemetery in Harrison.
Mildred McCutcheon Rains, 86, of Harrison, died at Hillcrest Home, Saturday, June 20 (2020). Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, at Holt Memorial Chapel from 3-7 p.m. Service will be on Wednesday, June 24, at Holt Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Denning Cemetery in Harrison. Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Home, 1111 Maplewood Road, Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of the late Charlie E. and Gertrue L. (Hall) McCutcheon was born Jan. 28, 1934, at Cave Creek.
Mildred was a lifelong resident of Newton and Boone County and was a member of the Bellefonte Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlin “Buck” Rains; two brothers, Cline and Desmal McCutcheon; three sisters, Virgie Hamilton, Tressie Martin, and Charlene Murphy. Mildred was also preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Ply.
Survivors include two brothers; Mitchell McCutcheon, of Cave Creeks and Luell McCutcheon, of Flippin; two daughters, Donna Jameson, of Little Rock and Dena Roberts, of Harrison; a son, Dorvin Lively, of Westlake, Texas; seven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jarrod Lively, Christopher Robertson, Taylor Hefley, Delton Edgmon, Garrett Sheumaker, Billy Joe Roberts and Ken Jameson.
