Jewell Fowler, 92, died Wednesday, Jan. 23 (2019). A celebration of Jewell's life will be held at Holt Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26. A visitation will start one hour before the service. Burial will be in Sexton Cemetery at Mt. Judea.

She was born in Mt. Judea on Feb. 18, 1926. Her parents were the late Tom and Nellie Greenhaw.
Jewell was preceded in death by two husbands, Kendall Fowler and Earl Tennyson; a son, Franklin Burdine; a granddaughter, Mistina Fowler; three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include sisters, Adath Hudson and Zella Montgomery; nephew/brother, Thomas Bonner; special niece, Louella Hefley; sons, Larry Fowler and Tim Fowler (Laura); daughters, Diane Mitchell and Pam Fowler; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Hills.
