JD Martin, 80, of Jasper, died at the Hospice House in Harrison on Wednesday, April 22 (2020). Cremation and arrangements are with Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
The son of the late Joseph Davis Martin and Leona Grimes was born in Decatur, Texas, Nov. 9, 1939.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Martin.
JD lived in Jasper for 11 years. He was of Baptist faith and loved motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Martin, of Jasper; his sons, John Martin and Payton Bridges; his daughters, Deverie Gray, Sue Martin, Shayla Dunham, Audrie Dunham, and Carol Mathis; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
