Garnet Henderson, 77, of Springdale, died Thursday, April 25 (2019). Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Sunday, April 28, at Coffman Funeral Home, Jasper. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m, Monday, April 29, at Wayton United Baptist Church. Pastor Bobby Young will be officiating and Jerry Spurlock will be reading the obituary.
He was born in Wayton, April 21, 1942. His parents were the late Robert and Faye Henderson.
He was a graduate of Deer High School in 1961. He served in the Army National Guard after high school. He moved to Springdale in 1965 and worked for Whillock Manufacturing for 25 years. He owned Henderson Upholstery in Springdale for 30 years. He was a member of Springdale United Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Hamm and a brother,
Roy Earl Henderson.
He is survived by two sons, Richie Henderson and Ryan Henderson, of Springdale; a sister, Glenda Casey, of Wayton; a brother, Sonny Henderson, of Wayton and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Brock Henderson, Bradley Waters, Cody Waters, Aaron Black, Hal Hicks, Scott Hicks and Steve Hicks.
