Emma Lucille Smith, 77 of Jasper, died in Hindsville on Tuesday, Febr. 12 (2019). A Memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on state Highway 16, Deer, at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16. A visitation will be one hour prior to service. Doors will open at 1 p.m. Private burial will be held at a later date. A dinner for the family will be held at the home in Jasper following the service. Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.

She was born April 18, 1941 in Lurton to Otto and Lizzie (Dotson) Tennison.
Lucille worked at Western Electric in Kansas City, Missouri, before moving back to Arkansas to raise her family in Jasper. She retired from Emerson Electric in Harrison. She married her husband Remmel Smith on May 29 of 1961 in Miami, OK.
She is preceded in death by her husband, three sisters and a brother.
She is survived by her two children, Kim Campbell of Huntsville and Bryan Smith, of Huntsville; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild; a brother, Bob Tennison; a sister, Kay Bickford, of Cowell and many relatives.
