Olden Dale Adamson, 86 of Harrison, died at Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper on Saturday, June 15 (2019). Graveside service with Masonic Funeral Rites will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 20, at Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison with Jerry Scogins presiding. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Coffman Funeral Home from 10-11 a.m. 

The son of the late Johnnie and Bertha (Moreland) Adamson was born at Mansfield, Missouri on Dec. 2, 1932. He was a resident of Harrison for 35 years, moving from Missouri.

Dale was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War. While in the service, he worked as an engineer. He was a Master Mason and a Perpetual Member of the Bellefonte, Arkansas Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by sons, Joe, James and Loyd Tabor and a daughter, Patsy Tabor and five brothers, Howard, Harold, William, Burnis and Lee Adamson.

Dale is survived by his wife of 35 years, Audry Adamson, of Harrison; three sons, Paul Adamson, of Harrison, Pete Adamson, of Fort Smith and Mike Tabor of Lebanon, Missouri; two daughters, Beverly Francis, of Springfield, Missouri and Brenda Appling, of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri; a brother, Kenneth Adamson, of Mansfield, Missouri; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Scaggs, Jac Ake, Cleyton Ake, Sean Stewart, Dakota Adamson and Paul Adamson.

Memorials can be made to Coffman Funeral Home to help defray funeral expense.
