‘Joe’ Fiveash, 84, of Western Grove

Lynge Dennis "Joe" Fiveash, age 84 of Western Grove, Arkansas passed away Wednesday February 17, 2016 at Harrison, Arkansas. Services are Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Coffman Chapel in Harrison, AR, with Bro. Derwin Martin and Bro. Dennis Sisco officiating.

The son of Wilburn and Virgie (Hill) Fiveash was born January 1, 1932 at Hasty, Arkansas.

He was a resident of Newton County most of his life, living in Hasty and Western Grove. He was a member of Yardell Chapel where he had attended since 1994. Joe married his soul mate, Nelda (Trulove) Cross on May 1, 2004 and they did everything together.

Joe was a veteran of the US Navy, serving in the Korean War, where he received medals for his service. He loved to go 4-wheeling and doing dozer work. He was a hard worker, driving a truck for many years. He loved his family and spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by 3 children, Gary Fiveash, Alice Fiveash, and Darlene Harris, his 1st wife, Barbara Barton Fiveash and a brother, J.T. Fiveash.

Joe is survived by his wife, Nelda Fiveash of the home, his son, Charles Wayne Fiveash of Tacoma, WA, his daughter, Denise Wallian (Jerry Curtis) of Bergman, AR; 2 step-daughters, Delila Birmingham (Andy) of Searcy, AR; Donita Griffith (Steve) of Hollister, MO; his sister, Betsy Greenwood (Jay) of FL; 14 grandchildren, Dusty and Scott Sisco, Misty and T.J. Wallian, David, Michael, Chipper, Bernice and Angela Fiveash, Shannon McDougal, Josh Rockwell, Daniel Delasandro, Tyler and Brandon Goettl; numerous great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.

Pallbearers are Dusty and Scott Sisco, T.J. Wallian, Shannon McDougal, Austin Lewis, Davie Fiveash, Jerry Curtis and Mark Harris.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Klepper, Dr. Langston and the NARMC CCU Nurses.
