FAYETTEVILLE — Headlined by third-team honorable mention All-America honoree Cam Little, seven Razorbacks earned postseason honors from Phil Steele Magazine, the publication announced Monday.
Defensive end Landon Jackson earned second-team All-SEC praise, while Little and kickoff return specialist Isaiah Sategna claimed third-team accolades. Wide receiver Andrew Armstrong, offensive guard Brady Latham, defensive back Dwight McGlothern and linebacker Chris Paul Jr. were tabbed fourth-team All-SEC honorees.
Landon Jackson proved to be one of the nation’s most dominant pass rushers this season en route to claiming second-team praise on defense, tallying 44 total tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and one pass breakup. Jackson, who began his career at LSU, set career-highs in tackles (11), tackles for loss (3.5) and sacks (3.5) at Alabama (Oct. 14), recording his first career double-digit tackle performance in the breakout performance and claiming SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors. The Texarkana, Texas, product anchored an Arkansas defense that ranked sixth in the SEC in tackles for loss and sacks, leading the Hogs in tackles for loss (13.5-78) and sacks (6.5-54).
Earning third-team honorable mention All-America and third-team All-SEC recognition, Cam Little has been one of the top kickers and kickoff specialists in the nation this year. Little connected on 20-of-24 (83.3 percent) field goal attempts and all 33 of his point after attempts in 2023. Little shared the national lead in field goals made from 50+ yards with four. Doubling as Arkansas’ kickoff specialist, Little kicked off 62 times for 3,981 total yards. The Moore, Okla., native, who is tied for fifth nationally in kickoff average (64.2 percent), recorded 53 touchbacks during the 2023 campaign. Little leads the SEC and ranks fourth nationally in touchback percentage (85.5).
Isaiah Sategna provided a spark for the Hogs in the return game all season as the squad’s primary punt and kick returner. Sategna’s biggest play of the season came against BYU when he took a punt 88 yards to the house, the fourth-longest punt return touchdown in school history. His 169 total return yards that night are the third-most in a single game in school history. He took over the sixth spot on the single season list in Arkansas history with 680 total return yards this season. The speedy Sategna led all SEC freshmen in both punt return average and kick return average.
Garnering fourth-team All-SEC honors, wide receiver Andrew Armstrong hauled in a team-high 56 receptions for 764 yards (13.6 ypc) and five touchdowns in his first year with the Razorbacks. Armstrong sat inside the SEC’s top-10 in receiving yards and receptions. The Dallas native had multiple catches in all 12 of the Razorbacks’ games this season and has recorded at least one catch in 28 consecutive contests dating back to his 2021 campaign at Texas A&M-Commerce.
Brady Latham started in 11 games at left guard during his redshirt-senior season with Arkansas. The Jenks, Okla., product was one of nine offensive players to play in over 400 snaps of offense in 2023. Latham allowed just three sacks in 397 pass blocking snaps.
Dwight McGlothern appeared in nine games with six starts and a team-leading three interceptions in 2023. The Houston product collected 20 total tackles, nine pass breakups, three interceptions, three tackles for loss and one forced fumble. Igniting the Razorbacks’ secondary, McGlothern allowed just two touchdowns and 30 yards after catch in 382 defensive snaps.
Chris Paul Jr. claimed fourth-team honors after recording 74 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and one pass breakup.
