The Jasper City Council will conduct a public hearing at City Hall at 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 4, to hear comments on a proposed advertising and tourism promotion tax to be used only for tourism and recreation costs. The hearing will be followed at 7 p.m. with a special council meeting to consider passage of an advertising and promotion (Hamburger) tax for the city of Jasper.
