Northark tournament underway

HARRISON — The annual North Arkansas College Invitational Basketball Tournament is underway in Harrison.
Action began on Tuesday and the champions will be crowned on Saturday.
On the boys side of the tournament, Mountain View is the top seed.
Marshall gets the nod as the No. 2 seed and Valley Springs is third.
Jasper was picked as the fourth seed and Kingston is the fifth.
After Rural Special as the sixth seed, Ozark Mountain is seventh.

Mt. Judea is the No. 12 team.

Mt. Judea was in action on Tuesday as they faced Norfork. Ozark Mountain also played on Tuesday against Lead Hill.
A win by Mt. Judea would put them in a game against Rural Special on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
An Ozark Mountain victory would put them in a Thursday game at 8:20 p.m. against Marshall.
Jasper and Kingston tangle at 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday.
The senior girls tournament sees Norfork as the top seed of the event.
Mountain View gets the nod for No. 2 and Jasper is the third seed.
Valley Springs is fourth seeded and Kingston is the fifth seeded team.
Rural Special is No. 6 and Ozark Mountain is No. 7.
Ozark Mountain played Lead Hill on Tuesday. A win by the Lady Bears would put them into a Thursday game with Mountain View at 7 p.m.
Jasper is scheduled to play Rural Special at 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday.
Kingston tangles with Valley Springs on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
The finals of the girls tournament will be at 6 p.m. Saturday and the boys game will follow.
