Posted

North Arkansas College had a successful first semester on the basketball court.
The team garnered a 13-2 record on the court. That included winning 12 straight games.
However, the use of an inegible player has cost the Pioneers five games.
A player fell below full-time status in his class load creating the forfeiting of the games.
The incident was self-reported.
The Pioneers now have a record of 8-7 on the season.
Northark forfeited to Allen County after winning that game, 94-67. The other four games that the Pioneers won include: Morton, Arkansas State University-Newport, Kansas City Kansas Community College and Neosho County.
On Wednesday night, the squad restarted its winning streak with a victory over Jefferson County Community College of Hillsboro, Mo.
Northark will return to action on Jan. 6 when they face Central Baptist College’s reserve team.
On Monday, Jan. 8 the Pioneers will begin Region II play as they travel to North Little Rock to play Shorter College.
