The 2024 Newton County Homecoming Shindig will be held Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27-28 at the Newton County Fairgrounds.
Scheduled activities include:
Friday, 12-6 p.m., demonstrations, vendors, live music, games and food.
6-9 p.m., barn dance with 7 South.
Saturday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., demonstrations, vendors, like music, games, food and a car show.
4:30 p.m. -2 a.m. Sunday, coon hunts.
Demonstrations and presentations will include: caning, faring, cheese making and much more.
