NARMC Santa Shuffle making fifth appearance

Posted

Mark your calendar for 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec 2, as North Arkansas Regional Medical Center will launch the holiday season with its traditional NARMC Santa Shuffle Fun Run/Walk.
Embrace the joy of giving this year while enjoying yourself. Why not consider making this a fresh addition to your holiday traditions? It will begin at the hospital where you can walk or jog alongside Santa Claus down Harrison's Main Street and around the historic town square, all while being serenaded by Christmas music and cheered on by Santa's helpers.
Once you cross the finish line, Santa's elves will welcome you with Shuffle medals around your neck, and then you can head over to Santa's sweet shop for some hot cocoa and cookies.
This event is for all ages and everyone who donates a new child's toy will receive a FREE Santa suit!
INTRODUCING A NEW ADDITION THIS YEAR!
The "Singing Santas" from Harrison High School Chamber Singers will perform prior to the event.
Entry: A new child's toy
Participants receive: FULL Santa suit (Coat, pants, hat, belt and a beard) and a Santa Shuffle medal

Over 1,100 gifts were given last year to children in the five county service areas.
If you are unable to attend for some reason and still would like to have a part in bringing joy to a child's life this Christmas, then won't you join us as a Virtual Santa?
Toy Drop off and Santa suit pick up dates:
Wednesday, Nov. 29 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 30 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Gifts do not need to be wrapped. Gifts should be for children between ages birth-12th grade.
All the toys will be given to organizations in the five counties that NARMC serves.
