Mid-States Wrestling donates $4,000 to NWA District Fairgrounds

At a recent live event at the Northwest Arkansas District Fairgrounds in Harrison, Mid-States’ wrestler and Harrison native “The Space Cowboy” Jason Jones along with fellow wrestler “Must CTV” Colton Theron Vaught presented a check for $4,000 to NWA District Fair Manager Allison Black to be used for improvements to the fairgrounds and especially to the Indoor Expo Building.
“It’s great to see the ongoing improvements and upgrades that have been made at the fairgrounds,” Jones aid. “Updated lighting, heating and cooling, as well as new chairs for the fans makes for a great overall experience for events like ours and other community events and functions. We are so proud to be able to help the fairgrounds and our community.”
For 22 years, Mid-States Wrestling has provided family-friendly professional wrestling in a four-states region, yet always calling Harrison home, mostly holding events at the Fairgrounds Indoor Building. Mid-States Wrestling hosts numerous events at the fairgrounds over the course of a year and has an impact of stimulating economic growth when the events are in town, bringing lodging, dining, and shopping to area businesses, not to mention fans and competitors from nearby states that come to Harrison for the weekend and enjoy the community and all it has to offer.
Mid-States Wrestling will host its latest event Saturday at the NWA District Fairgrounds as national TV stars from over 10 different states are set to compete in an event designed for all ages and families in the area in the Fairgrounds Building. Tickets for the event are $15 each and can be purchased at CASHSAVER870 Grocery in Harrison, at the door the night of the event or online at mswtickets.com
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the event set to start at 7 p.m.
