FAYETTEVILLE — KJ Jefferson has officially entered the transfer portal after five years at Arkansas.
'It has been rumored for weeks that Jefferson was going to enter the portal, but he didn't announce his decision until Saturday on Instgram. Jefferson thanked the fans and coaches in a long post and talked about what it meant for him to be a Razorback.
Jefferson broke several passing records while at Arkansas. Much was expected of him in 2023, but Jefferson struggled somewhat. He completed 190-of-296 passes for 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also rushed 161 times for 447 yards and two touchdowns.
In five years, Jefferson completed 626-of 962 passes for 7,923 yards, 67 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. He also rushed 523 times for 1,876 yards and 21 touchdowns.
He is the 14th Razorback to enter the transfer portal that closes on Jan. 2.
