CONWAY — The Springdale Har-Ber baseball game against Rogers completed an all Northwest Arkansas diamond sport finals in Class 6A.
Har-Ber played Bentonville in the Class 6A softball tournament and the game between Rogers and Springdale Har-Ber finished the finals of the Class 6A State Baseball Tournament.
Har-Ber won the contest, 2-0.
A hit and a walk scored the only two runs of the game for Har-Ber.
All of the action took place in the third inning.
Rogers failed to get a hit in the contest. It was the fourth no-hitter by an individual player. Luke Cornelison was the winning pitcher.
There have been seven no-hitters thrown in the state tournament history, but three of those games included combined pitching of two or more individuals.
Rogers did have base runners. They stranded 11 batters.
The game was held on Bear Stadium at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
