President Pat Dixon conducted the May 13 Friends of the Library meeting with eight people in attendance.
The wheelbarrow raffle was deemed a big success.
July 11 and 12 was the date set for the organization's first children's book sale. The hours are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and prices will be very low.
The group discussed the November 30 anniversary of the present library building. Several activities during the day were discussed.
Three FOL members will attend a luncheon of the Berryville Library FOL May 15 and then tour their library.
The Newton County FOL's next meeting is June 10.
