Fish fry June 7, Wilburn concert June 8

The June fish fry will be on Friday the 7th from 2-5 p.m. at the Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center.
Bruce Wilburn will be performing 1950s music at a fundraising lunch at the center on June 8. The show will begin after the noon lunch.
Meals at the center at offered to seniors for a $4 donation, Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk. No age limit customers and carry out meals cost $6.

Thursday - Chicken tenders, tater tot, green beans, dinner roll, pineapple upside down cake.

Friday - Dressed hamburger, homestyle fries, relish plate, ranch dressing and fruited gelatin.
June 3-5
Monday - Fried chicken salad, breadstick and chilled peaches.
Tuesday - Baked herb chicken, Parmesan potaoes, spinach, wheat roll and rosy pears.
Wednesday - Pepper steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, side salad, dinner roll and Mandarin orange fluff.
