Driver killed in Marion County crash

Robert Shawn Harriman, 55, of Springfield, Missouri, was killed in a one vehicle crash on US 62/412, west of Yellville in Marion County, according to an Arkansas State Police report. The crash happened at 1:18 p.m. Monday.
Harriman was driving a 2008 Ford F650 westbound. In the report filed by Trooper Paul G. Robson, the vehicle was negotiating a downhill curve to the right when the vehicle exited the roadway to the right. The driver apparently overcorrected and reentered the roadway in a side skid. The vehicle crossed the center line, exited the roadway to the left, struck rocks and multiple trees and overturned. It came to final rest on the eastbound roadside on its roof facing south.
Two passengers were injured, Diana Reed Harriman, 64, and Chelsey Frank Harriman, 85, both of Springfield, Missouri. They were taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center. The body was being held at Roller Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.
It was cloudy and the road condition was dry, the report reads.
