Bluegrass Festival in Jasper this weekend

Greenland Station Bluegrass will perform Friday evening, one of many bluegrass groups featured at the 18th annual Buffalo River Bluegrass Festival at Bradley Park in Jasper Sept. 5-7.

The 18th annual Buffalo River Bluegrass Festival will be held at Bradley Park in Jasper, Sept. 5, 6 and 7.

Admission: Thursday, $10; Friday, $10; Saturday afternoon and evening, $12 and a three day pass is $25.

Entertainment begins Thursday at 6:30 p.m. with an all gospel program featuring Unashamed Gospel Bluegrass, Kendall Edgmon & Crossroads Mountain, Brush Arbor, Potter's Wheel and Spanky & Friends.

Friday's entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. featuring Greenland Station Bluegrass, Interest Thirty, Old Men in Hats, Bluegrass Thoroughbreds and Lonesome Road.

Saturday's music schedule begins at 1 p.m. and at 6 p.m. featuring Larry Gillis & Swampgrass, Bob Hammons & the Good News Boys, Bonham Brothers, Finley River Boys and the Baker Family.
