RUSSELLVILLE — The Arkansas Tech University department of athletics has announced that tickets for its Second-Annual Athletic Auction are now available online for purchase.
This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, August 3 and will be held at the Arkansas Tech Student Union inside the Hull Building. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will feature a social hour, silent auction, dinner and live auction.
Items that will be auctioned off throughout the event include: autographed memorabilia, ATU game jerseys, items from local businesses, one-of-a-kind experiences and variety of fabulous trips. All proceeds from the event and its silent and live auction will benefit Arkansas Tech Athletics and support student-athlete scholarships.
"The success of our first athletic auction last year was amazing and testament to the support Tech Athletics has within our community," remarked ATU Director of Athletics, Abby Davis. "We are excited to have this event be an annual staple on the calendar for our fans and alumni and are really looking forward to its continued growth starting with our second-annual auction on August 3."
