The monthly fish fry at the Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center in Jasper will be Friday, March 1. Drive through or dine in from 2-5 p.m. The cost is $11 for: hand breaded fried fish or chicken strips, coleslaw, pinto beans , hushpuppies, pickled green and peach crisp (add Fries for $2), or $5 2 piece fish with fries. Additional fish is now $2 a piece or 10 for $15.
Meals at the center are served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The suggested donation for members is $4. No age limit and carry outs cost $6.60.
