Kiana Hays, 34, of Flippin, was killed and eight other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on US 65 in Van Buren County, Tuesday, Feb. 6, according to Arkansas State Police.
It happened at 7:20 p.m., at Choctaw.
Hays was operating a Ford F150 pickup truck and apparently crossed the median into the southbound lane. It struck the front of a Ford Econoline driven by Adan Gutierrez, 37, of Quitman, according to the report filed by Trooper Candice Pike.
Six passengers in Hays' vehicle including two minors, were injured.
