Flippin woman killed in crash

Kiana Hays, 34, of Flippin, was killed and eight other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on US 65 in Van Buren County, Tuesday, Feb. 6, according to Arkansas State Police.
It happened at 7:20 p.m., at Choctaw.
Hays was operating a Ford F150 pickup truck and apparently crossed the median into the southbound lane. It struck the front of a Ford Econoline driven by Adan Gutierrez, 37, of Quitman, according to the report filed by Trooper Candice Pike.
Six passengers in Hays' vehicle including two minors, were injured.

Gutierrez and his passenger were also injured.
The injured were transported to either Ozark Health in Clinton, Conway Regional, Children's Hospital or Baptist hospital in Little Rock for treatment.
The weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash, according to the report.
