Pastor Werner Gil will appear in concert on Good Friday, April 7, at 6:30 p.m, at the Jasper Seventh-day Adventist Church (located next to Sharon K's Cafe in Jasper).
The Jasper/Newton County Kiwanis annual Easter egg hunt will be held at 9:30 a.m., April 8, at Jasper's Bradley Park.
The Kiwanis Club has over 3,000 eggs to be filled for the community egg hunt this year!
The morning kicks off with a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny himself.
Newton County Baptist Church and Rock Haven Ministries will host the annual Egg Drop Eggstravaganza at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 8, at the Mt. Judea School campus.
A helicopter will drop 10,000 candy filled eggs for the kids to pick up. There will be carnival games, cotton candy, popcorn, bounce houses, and face painting. This is a free event and everyone is welcome to attend.
