Drugs discovered on school property

Posted

According to an affidavit filed in Boone County Circuit Court, a maintenance man working at Harrison Middle School is being charged with possession of meth or cocaine — less than 2 grams, a Class D Felony. The charge comes after a drug stash, believed to belong to 55 year-old Joseph Christie, was found on school property and reported to police.
The affidavit states that on Thursday, Aug. 15, Harrison Police Department School Resource Officer Jacob Mills was notified by Harrison Middle School another member of maintenance that a black plastic cigarette case with hand-rolled cigarettes and a clear plastic baggy with crystal-like substance was located on school property.
