The Newton County Christian Food Room will hold a fundraiser Saturday, June 15, on the courthouse square in Jasper. As always the food room is in need of food and cash donations to serve those who are underserved in the community. The Bowers family will be singing at the bandstand. There will also be a silent auction. A picnic meal including hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, chips, dessert and drink, will be served from noon - 4 p.m. Bring your own lawn chair.
