John Henry Steiler, 88, of Deer, died Saturday, Feb. 27 (2016) in Mountain Home. Arrangements are by Conner Family Funeral Home, Mountain Home. A burial with military honors will be Wednesday, March 9, at 2 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville. A memorial service in Jasper will be announced.
He was born on November 11, 1927 to the late Edward and Emily (Schroeder) Steiler in Brooklyn Queens, N.Y.
John was an Army Veteran. He moved to Deer in 1976.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne (Kraus) Steiler of Deer and daughter, Jeanne West of Georgia.
