Jimmy Dale Christian, Sr., 69, of Jasper, died Tuesday, May 24 (2016), at his home. Memorial visitation services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 3, at Coffman Chapel in Harrison. Private burial service will be held at Aurora Cemetery near Huntsville.
The son of the late Willard Albert and Wilma Lee (McElhaney) Christian was born Feb. 27, 1947 at Aurora. He had lived in Newton and Boone County for the last 15 years, coming from Rogersville, Mo. He worked as a truckdriver and mechanic.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeff and Gary.
Jimmy Dale is survived by two sons, Jimmy Christian, Jr., and Kenneth Christian both of Rogersville, Mo.; a daughter, Tonie Duckworth of Willard, Mo.; two brothers, Thomas Christian of Rogersville, Mo., and Phillip Christian of Bradleyville, Mo.; a sister, Carol Horn of Fordland, Mo.; six grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
