Ernest Clayton Reynolds, 75, of Raytown, Mo., died Monday, Nov. 18 (2013) at the Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper. Funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Boxley Baptist Church with Claud Williams officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Christeson Funeral Home in Harrison. Visitation is 1-2 p.m. Saturday prior to the funeral service. Memorials may be made to the Newton County Nursing Home, 610 Court Street, Jasper, Ark. 72641.

He was born Feb. 17, 1938, at Boxley. His parents were the late James Edmond and Orphea Mae Clark Reynolds. He was an auto mechanic, plumber, tile setter and body and fender man. He married Helen Kennedy at Sterling Acres Baptist Church in Kansas City, Mo., on Nov. 17, 1961.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Buckner, two brothers, Clifford and Clynton and two sisters, Cleo and Rosilene.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Reynolds, Raytown, Mo.; daughters, Shelly Davis of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. and Linda Clark of Ponca; son-in-law Mike Buckner of Lee Summit, Mo.; sisters Josiphene Villines of Springdale, Almarine Young of Ponca and Nancy Presley of Independence, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Brent Clark, John Clark, Quentin Clark, Sam Buckner, Alex Russell and Corey Jamison.

Honorary pallbearers are Evan Davis and Charlie Mann.
