Arvon Lavern “Vern” King, 77, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family April 17 (2016). Services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Waypoint Ministries 1827 E. Main St. (outer road), Warsaw, Mo. 65355. Arrangements by Hidden Valley Funeral Home 925 E. 92 Hwy Kearney, Mo. 64060.
Vern was born Feb. 11, 1939 in Low Gap. He graduated from Jasper High School. Vern worked on the Burlington Railroad and various truck lines and retired from the Teamsters in 1993. He was a member of Waypoint Ministries in Warsaw, Mo.
Vern is survived by his wife Mary Carol King, two sons, two stepsons, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Vern will be truly missed.
