A new water line has been installed at Steel Creek and all amenities have now been restored to the area. The Steel Creek Campground, launch and all restroom facilities will reopen starting on Friday, Sept. 20.
Please use caution as you drive on the Steel Creek Road. The roadbed is currently a packed blend of gravel, dirt and concrete. A pavement preservation project for Steel Creek Road is expected to begin late summer in 2025.
